Review: Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream and Dr. Scholl's 'For Her' High Heel Inserts

I received the Influenster Sunkissed Vox Box which contained some really AMAZING products!!!  Two of those products were the Olay BB Cream and Dr. Scholl's High Heel inserts.  I loved both of these, in fact I loved ALL of the items I received.

I want to start with the Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream.  This is one of the most recent additions to the vast world of BB creams to hit the market and I have tried quite a few of them.  I like that BB creams in general are light on the skin and yet still even out my skin tone enough to go out in public with only them on my face. This one is no exception to that as it is the lightest I have tried so far.  If your looking for any amount of coverage, you won't find it in this or any BB cream.  It does promise to be different from the others by offering up a few benefits for your skin.  It offers SPF 15 as well as promising to *refresh, *brighten, *even tone, *hydrate, *smooth and *protect.  All BB creams make promises that they really don't end up keeping though don't they?  It did make my skin feel refreshed and hydrated as well as making it appear brighter and more even and it does give protection w/ SPF 15.  It didn't make my skin feel any smoother, but hey, 5 out of 6 ain't bad.  So essentially this BB cream isn't making promises it doesn't keep for me.  I like the fact that BB creams are super fast because I hate spending a lot of time trying to look good enough to go out in public so this product is always a must have for my routine.  I don't mind that it doesn't have a lot of coverage because I don't have a lot of issues on my face aside from some dark under eye circles and the occasional blemish.  It does not hide dark circles or blemishes, but I add concealer anyway.  It feels just like a moisturizer when you rub it on, but not greasy.  It does dry and leave my skin feeling soft to the touch.  It holds up pretty well after about 4 hours I needed to powder my T-Zone, but that is nothing new to me.  I didn't look odd at the end of a busy day of running around, by that I mean no oxidizing or separation.  Overall I like this BB cream and will continue using it, however I probably won't actually purchase it when I run out simply because there are a couple other brands I like much more than this one like L'Oreal and Smashbox. I am inserting a before/after pic of me wearing the Olay BB cream and you will see there is no visible difference in my skin aside from a little color correcting.

Next up I am going to talk about the Dr. Scholl's High Heel inserts.  I personally am a flip flop kinda girl, but even I occasionally like to wear heels to look sexy.  The problem is I am REALLY short ( 5 feet exactly) so I tend to gravitate to 5" and higher heels which is killer on my feet and calves.  I never thought to purchase insoles because I do not wear my heels often enough to warrant it.  I was excited to test these because of my skepticism towards something that promises to make those sky high heels bearable.  Let me be the first to say I was pleasantly surprised.  I tried them out at a little get together with a few friends which lasted into the wee hours of the night and we weren't hanging out at home, we were running around bar hopping if you will. Not once did I remove my heels to go bare foot as I normally would have after about 2 hours, these inserts really made a huge difference!  Here is a snapshot of the heels I wore around for a total of 5 hours:

**Disclaimer** I did receive these products complimentary from Influenster for testing and review, however all opinions are my own :)
